We at Opening Gaits are asking for your sponsorship of one of the horses for one year.

In return for your sponsorship of a horse, Opening Gaits will publish your company name as a donor on our web site. Also, your company name will be on a plaque at the riding arena. Information regarding the horses in the program will be made available and we will provide a framed photograph of your adopted horse. The Second Annual Cowboy Trail Charity Rodeo will be held this year on September 16, 2006 at Millarville. We will display your sign or banner and you will be invited to attend as our special guests. You will also be invited to any other special events throughout the adoption year. Opening Gaits will be attending many rodeo and other events during the summer.

Your decision will make a big difference for many children. Although the parents pay a portion of the fees, the program costs $70,000.00 a year to run. The costs for the riding season run approximately $3000.00 per horse. A tax receipt will be available for each donation.

The 11 horses in the program are up for adoption and the Gallop Gold sponsorship of $3,000.00 is on a first come, first served basis. In the event that the sponsorship funds exceed the horse expenses, Opening Gaits will earmark the funds for a power lift, as there are some students in wheelchairs who must be manually lifted onto the horses. Opening Gaits also has a mandate to expand the program, as there is a waiting list.

However, any donation that you are willing to make will be greatly appreciated.
